Coco is a 3yr old apricot toy poodle (she weighs less than 5kg), she
is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and will be
rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance. She has a clean bill of health from our vet.

Coco came to us from the stray pound, she was a matted smelly mess and
had clearly been living in unsavorary conditions, a nice groom soon
had her feeling and smelling much better as well as being much more
comfortable with all those horrible matts gone.

Coco is a real little sweetheart of a dog, she is a joy to have
around. She is very happy and friendly with all that she meets and
really enjoys lots of attention and will be on your lap as soon as you
sit down.

Coco is in foster with lots of other small dogs and is often found
snuggled up with a dog or two, she loves their company and will
definitely need another small friendly dog in her new home as it's
likely she has never been an only dog given her start in life. She
sadly doesnt know how to play with other dogs or toys but that may
come in time.  She does tell other dogs off if they come near her bowl
whilst eating, as she probably had to fight for food previously but
it's easily managed.

Coco was initially scared of the cats in the foster home but is used
to them now, she appears to really love children and adores the
foster's grandson, we would be happy to consider a home with gentle
respectful children of 5yrs and over.

Coco is ok being left for a few hours in the daytime with other dogs
for company but at night she will bark if left downstairs so she
sleeps upstairs in her own bed at night and is very happy with that.
She will need a home with someone around a lot of the time though.

Coco needs a home with a lovely secure garden to play in, and being a
young dog needs someone who can provide plenty of nice walks and
adventures. She is good with the groomer and with the vets and travels
ok in the car. She is getting there with her house training but you
should expect the odd accident at first.

Coco is being fostered in Swadlincote, Derbyshire but can be rehomed
further afield subject to homecheck and adoption donation of £300
